At the time I thought "Well if Colin Powell is speaking like this, maybe there is some truth in it. I still didnt think they should go to war. I can't believe that Powell staked his entire credibility on unverified information. I really thought that he had personally investigated the source data. That was certainly the impression that I got at the time. I cant believe all these hypocritical politicians blaming the intelligence when there were plenty of voices in the intelligence community raising doubts.
