I found this article fascinating. Obviously, as it was described by the reporter, I could very much relate to the Mother. The problem we have as readers is not really knowing what happened. What one person describes as a slap, may be unacceptably aggressive behaviour. I felt very much that on many occasions when the kids were little I could have found myself in the same position as this mother. I guess, one thing that I see is that one of the witnesses was a mother of four. I would guess that in that circumstance, she will probably have seen just about everything. Hopefully, she was able to judge whether it was unreasonable behaviour. I wonder what the lady's sentence will be.
