Selfishness
I am continuing to be disappointed by the selfishness and lack of charity of too many Australians when faced by so many refugees from Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. People find it far too easy to dismiss them as Moslem fanatics and not even consider that these are people just like us who are in trouble. I really don't believe that people would flee half way across the world to uncertainty just for a slightly more comfortable life. The government is able to continue with it's cruel policies purely because too many people are apathetic.
