Here is the latest example of the pathetic state that the great tradition of Westminister democracy has stooped to. Phil's sublime spin magicians: a case study - www.smh.com.au Government ministers deliberately employ people for the specific purpose of filtering them from their department so that they can deny knowledge of anything untoward. I dont understand how the public let them get away with it. Some people in the media are pressuring them, but it seems that people don't really want to bother with the details. They were able to stonewall on Iraq, and no doubt they will do so on this. I cant believe the level of dishonesty involved. the sad thing is that having seen how successful it can be, Labor will probably do the same thing when they next get in to government.
